README!
Hello and thank you for your interest in joining Tranquility. You can use the form on this page to submit an application. We will contact you and ask questions if interested. While members can comment on the applications, you should keep an eye on the Officer/Admin -comments first and foremost. Keep in mind that if you don't put time and effort into your application, we will not put time and effort into reading it.

Interested in raiding or simply in for the social aspect?
While we are a progression FC first and foremost, ie. being raiding-focused, we also have social members in the FC. Generally speaking, social members are people we've known for a while and who we deem our friends, despite them not partaking in the raiding action, barring Alt/Social-raids when the main groups are done with progression.

Still, if we don't happen to have any vacancies for raiding spots at a given time - you might submit an application and aim to be a social member, if the recruitment is open and if you have contacts in the FC as it is.

The only conditions for applying for a social member spot are:

1) you have someone that can vouch for you already in the FC.
2) No one in the FC will have anything against you (this is seen via a yes-no -vote when you have submitted an application).

This is because while we value our friends (socials members alike), the FC's atmosphere won't be compromised by taking in someone who the raiding members don't like.

Any socials-to-be should also not apply in hopes of using that rank as a springboard to get into our raiding roster if someone quits from the raiding groups. Do not get your hopes up even if a Social-to-Member-transition can still happen if you prove to be a good player and partake in our Alt/Social-raids. When applying for a social member spot, do so for the community you want to be a part of.

General Conditions:
  • A certain level of fluency in the English language is a must. We do not care if you're not a native speaker, but if you can't follow instructions and can't react to feedback given to you - we will not be able to raid together.
  • Make sure you're okay with our raiding times: we generally start raiding between 6PM and 12AM GMT, depending on the group. Group 1 tends to start earlier (6-9PM ish), whilst group 2 starts later (9PM-12AM ish). That said, we do not have static raiding days and the times may vary as well. These are always discussed ahead of time with potential schedule-easening member swaps done accordingly.
  • While a generally good understanding of the game across the board is a great feature to have, we require you know your main job (the one used to raid) through and through and are always aiming to up your game.
  • The use of Teamspeak is mandatory.
  • We do not have any "no PS-players" -policies for most jobs and the efficiency they require in order to be played properly, especially now that PS4 is out which destroys some of the previous limitations of PS3. That being said, even if you're a PS-player, the use of TS is absolutely mandatory. Also, certain jobs that require a higher APM and dexterity (this would mean SCH at this point of time, mostly) and the applications received for these kind of jobs are treated with more caution if the applicant is a console/controller-user.
  • Being community-minded: we are a progression FC, but not in the truest sense of the word wherein merits and demerits are placed ahead of camaraderie without an exception. We value progressing with our dear friends - a FC is nothing without a community. (However, this doesn't mean we don't play progression-focused, as we have progression groups, at times).
